Heritage Scarf

Crafted in fine antique gold silk twill and enriched by the sparkling touch of jacquard lurex for the external logo frame, the AVGVSTVS scarf features a hand-printed and therefore unique motif representing an ancient coin with the portrait of emperor Augustus. While in Imperial Rome these artefacts were considered as symbols of power and glory, here the imaginary coin represents a tribute to ‘s 140th anniversary, encircled by the inscription ” Roma 1884-2024″ as a display of the Maison’s indissoluble bond with Rome. The versatile model can be tied around the neck for an iconic look, wrapped around the waist as a seductive belt and used to style the hair in on-trend ways or to personalise one’s bag. 70 x 70 cm – 27.6 x 27.6 inches. 90% silk and 10% polyamide.
